Wharton High School Weight Room Renovation Project 
The Wharton Football Coaching Staff realized a need in updating the weight room. Most of the equipment is the original equipment from when the school first opened. A group was formed to analyze this project. This group met with several different companies and competitive bids were taken. HAMMER STRENGTH CORPORATION was awarded this project. The total cost of the Weight Room Renovation is $57,000.00.
In early spring, 2011, the Wharton Athletic Booster Club gave $10,000.00 toward this project. A cookie dough fundraiser kicked off in late spring by the 2011 Wharton Football Team, and $2,000.00 was raised by the players.
We are getting into high gear to finish raising the remaining $45,000.00. There are many ways to donate to this project.
